Thank you for your interest in this worthy cause. We have received hundreds of emails from people like yourself that are interested in participating in the Lap Wrap program. The following information addresses most of the questions that have been asked.

1. Size: Approx. 45” X 45”

2. The blanket can be knitted or crocheted

3. Any pattern that you like.

4. Any color scheme

5. Any size yarn can be used

6. Any needle size can be used

7. A short personalized note to the soldier should be attached to each lap wrap.

8. Ship the finished blanket to La Knitterie Parisienne where they are accumulated for bulk shipment:

9.If you do not have access to yarn La Knitterie Parisienne will be glad to provide either a worsted or a chunky yarn at a 15% discount. The amount of yarn depends on whether the lap wrap is knitted or crocheted and the pattern. Please order enough yarn, as we may not be able to provide additional yarn of the same color and dye lot.
Our brave soldiers injured in battle will greatly appreciate your efforts.
